(Hand waving....!)  I'll take them!!!  Actually, on the Type III batt., the 
cells are 4/5ths A cells and these are available from BatteriesAmerica.com.  
A rebuild takes an hour or so and $40 of cells.  I use a Dremel tool to cut 
open the case.  Last one I did ran the 2300 for about 2 hours of "normal" 
use....a GS 280 would last maybe....3 hrs or so??  BTW, if anyone has a cheap 
screen for a 270 or 280, email me off-list, I have a good logic I'd like to 
get going....and I don't need color.  If you want to do a trade, I do have a 
good 2300 active screen.  I'd accept a greyscale screen as partial trade for 
the color screen.
