-1 To removing spec links. We should be linking to the JCP since that is what Tomcat implements and we WANT developers to know and download the spec.

It would be nice if we can just put the spec in as part of the docs, but IIRC - that is against the licensing terms of the docs. If we could put the specs in with the docs - then I'd be +1 for removing the JCP links.

Still, is it so important that this should be listed on
the front page. We already have those links
(should be updated for Tomcat7 BTW) in our documentation,
so having that on the front page makes no sense to me.
