I'm feeling towards -1 for 3.0.2, Adding [collections] code feels of scope for a x.x.x maintenance release and needs more debate. I'd prefer to release a generics version of collection/trunk. This code as is could be 3.1 because we've added features, even if its just a couple of APIs. I am not sure how strict we want to be here. I do not seen commits linked in JIRA, perhaps the code was committed with out the proper comments in the format "[LANG-532] ...". Separate email on that coming...
