Hello, for testing purposes I am not using the downloadable ISO images of debian, but building my own debian-livefile ISO images. This is not very difficult and documented.
This has the advantage, that I can add any package I want and need into this image, as I can add my own list of software. Also there is no limit of the size of the ISO file, even when it is bigger than 4.7GB and do not fit on a DVD, it can well be installed (using dd) and then booted from an USB-stick. Thus you can even create different aimed ISOs, and then can be chosen by YUMI. -------------------- Another thing I do, is to create a bootable livefile from a native installed debian system. This is also working well with kali-linux. Bootcdwrite is doing the trick. -------------------- You see, there are several ways, whcih solve your task, which one is the best for you is in your decision. Hope this helps. Best Hans
