* Non-maintainer upload.
* debian/changelog
- (1:4.7.3-1.1 entries): Delete bogus Closes line for
#515489. Delete bogus Build-Depends message.
* debian/patches
- Delete files and directory. Generated by packaging format 3.0. The
patches were for auto generated files, not modified by us.
* debian/source/options
- New file. Ignore files generated by ./configure or debian/rules
(stamp) from
patch. This makes debian/patches/ clean.
Better.
You're correct. It stored the old *-2 patch in the series file. Later
when the correct NMU was done for *-1.1, it stayed there.
I've set the "3.0" format to ignore the automatic changes generated by
the build process in file debian/source/options. The current proposed
release does not have debian/patches directory at all.
Part of the problem with me reviewing this change is that I have not yet
converted any of my packages to 3.0, so I can't say with certainty this
is correct. On the surface of it, though, it sounds good.
If you have carefully reviewed the package, verified that all changes
that you applied in -1.1 are still applied in -1.2 (creation of watch
file, etc.), have also manually reviewed the contents of the source
package itself to ensure it contains everything it should, and have
tested thoroughly, then it looks ready to go now.
