Package: libquicktime0
Version: 1:0.9.7-0.1
Severity: serious

Unpacking libquicktime0 (from .../libquicktime0_1%3a0.9.7-0.1_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/libquicktime0_1%3a0.9.7-0.1_i386.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libquicktime1394.so.0.0.0', which is also in
package libquicktime1

The version of libquicktime1 is the one from your previous NMU 1:0.9.3-2.1.

Also, as already noted in #323659, libquicktime.0 was part of package
libquicktime4linux0 in woody, which (correctly) wasn't conflicted away
by a newer libquicktime package in sarge. Therefore, stray
libquicktime4linux0 packages might still be installed on uptodate
systems, and I suggest adding a conflict/replace stanza on
libquicktime4linux0 even though it isn't part of sarge. That said,
please clarify with upstream whether this soname change back to an old
version was done intentionally, or whether it was an accident that
should be reverted as soon as possible. Once this is cleared up, please
inform libquicktime1 rdepends to rebuild their packages so they become
installable again.

Regards,

Daniel.
