Not really, we can't modify Lenny's dpkg. Furthermore the sane coexistence with other patch system rely on the fact that dpkg-source does nothing with the content of debian/patches unless there's a series file. Otherwise switching to the new format by default would break many more packages. > No. I just challenged your use of "good" when it comes to patches.
