Michael: Confirmed with other users now that the installs are working properly without the disk label. I'm still curious to know the one time error involving the UUID but now I can't replicate that error. Also if you could let me know what I might have done wrong to not get the NFSROOT FAI pkgs upgraded properly. Thanks tons for your help

Not sure if I should chalk up that last uuid disk error as a vmware disk problem. Should I send you a debug log anyways? -----Original Message----- From: Michael Tautschnig [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, October 24, 2008 1:01 PM To: Nguyen, Kim Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Bug#500823: INTERNAL ERROR in setup-storage: Table Header no seen yet > Michael: > > So I chrooted to /srv/fai/nfsroot/live/filesystem.dir and upgraded the two > packages to 3.2.13. it gets a bit farther now but crashes with the error: > > Command /lib/udev/vol_id -u /dev/sda1 had exit code 4 Failed to obtain > UUID for /dev/sda1 > > FATAL ERROR.
