Humm, maybe I am not totally awoken, but isn't
/usr/share/doc/httrack/html actually a link to ../../httrack/html (that
is, /usr/share/httrack/html) and hence html/index.html relative to
/usr/share/doc/httrack resolves to
/usr/share/doc/httrack/html/index.html ; that is,
/usr/share/httrack/html/index.html ?
$ cd /usr/share/doc/httrack
$ grep HTTP-EQUIV httrack-doc.html
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0; URL=html/index.html">
$ ls -l html/index.html
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5902 2007-11-16 14:12 html/index.html
