After clicking the system tray icon on my xfce4-desktop I got
the message "/bin/bash: evolution: command not found". Before the split
into two packages there was a config option for the preferred mail-reader
application. Do you consider to implement this feature again?

i'm unable to reproduce this problem, at least with version 4.1.dfsg.1-1 .
Moreover, it's been possible to use a custom command upon mail
reception for a while now...
Do you still have problems?
