As you most probably have noticed, I have forwarded this bug upstream,
and I have found the commit [1] that looks like it is the cause of the
problem, and it seems like it is part of the coming (sooner or later)
migration to GTK4, which if I am not mistaken doesn't have a toolbar
implementation, which means that if the functionality is to be kept, it
needs to be implemented in another way.

I don't know really if the toolbar will be kept, or what the plan is,
and this could be a reason that this hasn't been moved forward more.

I probably could simply revert the commit in the Debian package, but I
want to see what upstream says in response to the forwarded bug before
taking any further steps.
