I apologize. The sentence should read:

The english original is in roman font, while the translated text is in bold.

I double checked both in an xterm(1) and on the Linux console, the
english version is in roman, while the German version is in bold.
Several paragraphs.

I simply use man <file>, however, this also happens with "man -l <file>"
