You need to check "Session Info" --> Features to check available encodings on 
Server and Client. If your server runs a different version of Xpra they may 
not agree on what encodings to use.

DMO packages are strongly deprecated in Debian. They are known to cause 
problems and most likely they are the only cause of all your problems in Xpra.
Please use only official Debian packages.

I'm not sure what is the meaning of "(without dmo)".

Once again, DMO packages are not supported hence I'm closing this bug as 
"invalid".
