Many have voiced the concern I'm going to address, but as I see your words, I cannot help but see the need to reiterate. There is a point of view, that Steve's role as a debian's upstart maintainer is in a direct conflict with the spirit of the process here. >From such a viewpoint, one would rather see Steve abstain from _any_ participation on bug #727708.
