This trumps the fact that Steve was in the midst of drafting a potentially agreeable ballot all around, and had stated his disappointment about this out of the blue CFV since he just needed some more time to get that done. Wouldn't it be far more preferable to take a little more time to refine the text so that it can be backed by a somewhat unified TC?
