Hmm, Debian bugs are always filed against sid distro. So a fix will
only be provided as an upgraded sid version. To test your testing
environment I have to build a chroot which will catch to much spare
time.
If you are comfortable with the Debian apt tools you should try to
upgrade at least the debian-multimedia packages to sid. If something
goes wrong please don't hesitate to wake me up ;-)
