ok.. small hint; by coincidence I've encountered KEXI_DATAAWAREOBJECTINTERFACE code in kexi/widget/tableview/kexidataawareobjectiface.h. It'a a Q_OBJECT-like macro that inserts connecting methods to a class. Maybe similar macro could be useful in this case.
