You might try using the bug tracker before trying to tell people what they should use. If you consider it so important that you must preach to me, then you might do something better and help the Savannah project with improving the bug tracker. Cause, if it is improved just a bit then I will use it.
You can start by implementing a feature that allows one to reply to Savannah bug reports and get them registered in the database.
