What I meant is not that I wanted to keep BLFS-SVN compatible with previous
versions of LFS, but rather that we agree about which version of LFS we use
for updating. Up to now, I have kept an LFS 7.5 base for BLFS updating, mainly
because all the pages specify that the package has been checked with LFS 7.5.
If a package does not build anymore with LFS 7.5, we should remove this
specification IMHO.

OTOH, as you say, LFS-SVN has changed enough, so that an update of BLFS is
needed. But then, we should agree on which version of LFS-SVN we use for BLFS
updates. Let's say that we take LFS-20140428 (well, I have not tried to build
it, so that may be a bad choice) until another dramatic change to LFS occurs...

Regards
Pierre
