Thanks Christiaan for your answer! If I understood correctly, it should already be possible with AppleScript to import an PDF into BibDesk and automatically fill in all needed data from the metadata the same way it would happen if one drags the Pdf on the library?!
I did not succeed in writing the script, maybe I have been using the import command wrong. Could you please provide a snippet as you did for adding a PDF to an existing entry?
