Hi Enrico, BibDesk will fill in the metadata for PDFs that are manually dropped onto it (though even this doesn’t work for me, for some reason). However, what some of us are interested in is that PDFs that are imported via some kind of automation (e.g., Hazel, Folder Actions, Automator etc) will also have their metadata filled in automatically. As Christiaan has said, this is not currently possible.
