I wondered for some time whether the developers could make an AppleScript command available which not only adds a PDF to an empty entry, but performs the same as dragging a PDF onto the library, i.e., importing the PDF into a new entry and fill in all available metadata. Is this possible?! That would be perfect!
(for cases in which filling in data does not work, one could extend the script with pdfmeat as suggested here) Thanks, J Am 27.09.2014 um 11:03 schrieb Ken Mankoff <[email protected]>: > > Nevermind that last email, that assumes the DOI field is already > populated. > > If you want to fill in metadata without knowing anything about the PDF, > I think the best tool out there is 'pdfmeat'.
