I wondered for some time whether the developers could make an AppleScript
command available which not only adds a PDF to an empty entry, but performs the
same as dragging a PDF onto the library, i.e., importing the PDF into a new
entry and fill in all available metadata. Is this possible?! That would be
perfect!

(for cases in which filling in data does not work, one could extend the script
with pdfmeat as suggested here)

Thanks,

J
