Licenses are automatically converted as part of the upgrade process. If multiple user licenses exist, they're all merged together into one total count (i.e. if you have licenses for 10, 15, 10, and 20 floating users, the upgrade would create an entry for 55 floating users). You can also import licenses from 7.x or 6.x and the system will convert them to the new license structure. More info is in the Configuring Guide. -David J.
