I guess that wasnt all that clear, is mikrotik capable of acting as a mail
facility, like sendmail, the spf record allows its public facing ip to send
on behalf of the domain without going to spam. Im never a fan of
credentialling in devices when i can avoid it because a credential change
inevitably results in stranded alerts. Inside our active directory domains
i always set up an open smtp relay with an acl to avoid credentials on
devices that do mail alerts or printers that email
