I don't think this stuff is mutually exclusive. Why can't it be 300 megabit at QPSK and 250 MHz when conditions suck and 10 gigabit at 256 QAM at 2 GHz when conditions are good? I didn't spend the time to actually do the math to see if those numbers work out. It's not terribly different than most of our manufacturers so far in quoting the best of all scenarios.

The thing about the last page is that it doesn't jive with the radio being 10 Gbps capable. They're listing distances with 60cm antenna and QPSK modulation/250 MHz wide channel, which will result in throughput of maybe... 300 Mbps? QPSK + 1 GHz wide FDD channels should be 1 Gbps full duplex. Basically same as a Bridgewave FP80. 256QAM and the 2 GHz wide channel is what gets 10 Gbps On Tue, Mar 29, 2016 at 5:47 PM, Faisal Imtiaz < [email protected] > wrote: Did you actually scroll down to the last page . where the expected ranges for the different rain zones are listed ? :) Faisal Imtiaz Snappy Internet & Telecom 7266 SW 48 Street Miami, FL 33155 Tel: 305 663 5518 x 232 Help-desk: (305)663-5518 Option 2 or Email: [email protected] <blockquote> From: "Mike Hammett" < [email protected] > To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2016 8:37:54 PM Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Russians made a 10 Gbps radio? <blockquote> Never mind, I see on the next page a 12 mile claim for 80 GHz as well. ----- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions Midwest Internet Exchange The Brothers WISP From: "Mike Hammett" < [email protected] > To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2016 7:31:12 PM Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Russians made a 10 Gbps radio?
