Is the "Plastic Sight" Like the Cambium Alignment tube?  Kinda works, but at the same time, doesn't?  The WB Scope was such a good idea, I don't know why everything doesn't have that option. Especially on High precision short links.  Other than The manufacturer knows that guy's who install it are usually paid by the hour.

I haven't used any of the XRs, but I'm pretty sure there's no flat surface, so the WB scope probably isn't going to work. I assume the AF60XR comes with a plastic sight, like all the other UBNT 60ghz radios do these days, which is typically good enough to get you close enough fine tune with signal, and yes, the alignment brackets are pretty decent (again, I haven't used the XR, but I'm assuming it's similar to the others). They do have some beam forming, which makes them relatively easy to aim compared to other mmwave radios... they don't need to be anywhere near as precise as something like an AF24.

The original AF60 is junk compared to the AF60LR, WaveLR and WavePro (especially the bracket, but also, in general).

We haven't used the UBNT 60ghz since the original AF60 between 2
rooftops going across a street.  We found it almost impossible to
    align,
but that was back in the day of the single U-Bolt alignment. I'm
looking at doing a temporary (1 month) 3 mile link from a tower to a
building with the AF60XR.  Is it going to be hard to align the
    tower end
without 100 climbs?  It looks like the alignment bracket is better
    now,
allowing for fine adjustments. With the AF24, we can strap the WB
Telescope on the front and align them right in with no question.  I'm
guessing there's no flat surface to mount a scope on the AF60.
