Thank you so much for the work around, apparently it is working well on android phones from what I got to read from one of the members on the mailing list. However, would like to see true accessibility instead of trying to figure out workarounds for each inaccessible application.
Would call upon the Mission Accessibility team to take this up if possible. I might be also filing a case on the CCPD portal. I also need to check the status of the previous cases I filed earlier on the portal. Too much to do and too little time! Thank you once again for this, have a good one! Now, regarding the accessibility issue in the Rapido app, you can do the following: instead of swiping on the Rapido app's home screen, use 'Explore by Touch' with your finger starting from the top-left corner. VoiceOver will announce "Menu button." When you swipe right or slide your finger slightly to the right, you will find the "home drop where are you going?" button. Double-tap on this. If your location is on, the pickup location will appear in the pickup edit box. If it is off, you will need to fill in the pickup location and then enter your destination location in the drop location edit box. Also, for your convenience, you can save your home or work/office location in the Rapido app for fast searching. On the next page, VoiceOver will read out all the available rides. Double-tap on the type of vehicle you want, and at the bottom of the screen, you will find the "book ride" button. If you swipe right-to-left, you will find the default payment mode is set to Cash. If you want to change this, double-tap, and all payment modes will be displayed. Tap on one and click "book my ride." You will get the pickup location once again on the next page; confirm it to book the ride. This is how you will be able to book a ride on the Rapido app. No need to be on the screen recognition in Rapido app. Thank you, Mohammed Arif (Using iPhone 13) Office superintendent NRBH HQ office delhi. Today, I attempted to use the app and was disappointed to find numerous unlabeled buttons and images - making navigation difficult. Previously, I found the Rapido app to be clean and simple. However, it now seems overloaded with unlabeled elements and lacks straightforward, easy-to-understand menus. This has significantly impacted usability, particularly for users relying on accessibility features. I would like to know: - Have you faced similar accessibility issues with the Rapido app? - Have you noticed changes in the app's UI that might have impacted accessibility? - Do you have any workarounds or suggestions to navigate these challenges. Sharing experiences and insights would be helpful. Sincerely, Mujtaba Merchant Bangalore | INDIA Sent from iPhone ® -- Disclaimer: 1.
