Just a relevant update on this topic, as Ubuntu Jaunty was released
a few days
ago, there is a new release schedule for Ubuntu out:

Note that the DebianImportFreeze is set to 25th of June, so to
ensure that
Virtuoso is in the next version of Ubuntu, this is the hard
deadline. To be
confident, it should be uploaded well in advanced before that date.
We are working with a team from Debian packaging to clear up some
remaining problem areas before Debian can officially accept the
virtuoso package.
I will make sure that they speed up their efforts in reporting back
to us, so we can meet the above deadline.
