Hi everybody,
for some time now I am having issues when syncing my calendar using Nine
Folders android app and SOGo EAS. E-Mail and Tasks are synced correctly.
In SOGo log, the following lines appear when trying to sync the calendar:
Sep 28 21:57:17 sogod [149165]:
<0x0x555b6f69f880[SOGoActiveSyncDispatcher]> Change detected during
Sync, we push the content.
Sep 28 21:57:17 sogod [149165]: [ERROR] <0x0x555b7006a0a0[NSDataMalloc]>
xml2wbxml failed: Parsing of XML Document Failed
Sep 28 21:57:17 sogod [149165]: [ERROR] <0x0x555b7006a0a0[NSDataMalloc]>
Original data written to: /tmp/xxxx_246ad_2ac6121d_0.data
I am running SOGo nightlies on Debian 12, I updated SOGo to the latest
version. Debian is also up do date.
Is this an error in SOGo, or is there a bad XML format in one of the
calendar entries? If one or more of the calendar entries are at fault,
how can I identify the faulty one(s)?
For future reference:
Calendar sync via CalDAV works, so it seems to be a ActiveSync issue.
I found the offending XML entry by checking the validity of the data
file (referenced to in SOGo log) with xmllint. The ORGANIZER entry
contained an e-mail address in angle brackets: <[email protected]> This
seems to be the cause, after removing the brackets, synching works again.
Best regards,
Paul
