Yes, there still seems to be issues here !!! I revisited it this evening. When you say the latest Ubuntu release are you talking about Hardy ? And if so, I do not use Hardy at the present time because I have little confidence in it's dependability. I am still using Gutsy as my main O/S and only use higher releases on an experimental basis.
This is a fairly complex/involved problem and I can probably relate the nature of the problem to you better if we could correspond via e-mail regarding this problem since I am at work about half of the time and here at home (where the Ubuntu computer is) about half of the time.
