Same problem here on Hardy amd64. I just tried to remove linux-ubuntu-
modules-2.6.24-10-generic, linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-11-generic and
linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-12-generic which returned the error:
"subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1". Now
the package tree is broken...
