the kmenuedit app is for the KDE 3 menu, and last I tried it didn't do
anything for my KDE 4 Kickoff menu at all. I just tried it and it didn't
do anything and all of my icons are the same. I think the issues seem to
stem from having both Gnome and KDE 4 together on the same system as we
keep hearing of weird little quirks like this every so often. Do any of
these problems still occur with the 4.0.1 release of KDE 4? When I sort
the applications with kmenuedit, it doesn't effect my KDE 4 menu at all,
so I am somewhat at a loss here. Thanks for all of the information and
hopefully we will be able to figure something out on this one. Thanks
again!
