DMUB firmware version 7.42.0, shipped in linux-firmware
20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu2.29, introduces intermittent 2-3 second terminal
input lag (keystroke delay) on AMD Navi 33 GPUs. The lag is not consistent - it
comes and goes, making it difficult to immediately identify the cause.
Reverting to DMUB 7.40.0 (from 0ubuntu3.1) resolves the issue completely.

Steps to reproduce
1. Install linux-firmware version containing DMUB 7.42.0 (0ubuntu2.29 or
later builds incorporating the same firmware)
2. Reboot
3. Open a terminal emulator (xfce4-terminal, tested under Xfce/Xfwm4)
4. Type — keystrokes are intermittently delayed by 2-3 seconds. The lag is
not immediately obvious as it comes and goes unpredictably.
Expected result: Keystrokes appear immediately.
Actual result: Intermittent 2-3 second delay between keypress and
character appearing on screen.
Workaround
Replace dcn_3_2_1_dmcub.bin.zst with the version from linux-firmware
0ubuntu3.1 (DMUB 7.40.0) and reboot. Pin the package with apt-mark hold
linux-firmware to prevent re-upgrade.
Currently running DMUB 7.40.0 (version=0x07002800) with no input lag.
