I thought I chosed "calamares" as the package for this report, but maybe I mis-clicked somewhere. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Back to the issues: 1. Using `ubuntu-bug calamares` (apport) does not work on the Kubuntu Live CD and reports that "calamares" seems to be not an official Ubuntu package. 2. How should a normal non-techie user know that he should execute `ubuntu-bug calamares` instead of choosing installer/installation? I assumed that the (missing) Python script would give the Live CD creators the possibility to stear the bug report against the correct package and maybe provide required information. ** Attachment added: "20250905_230234.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/2122081/+attachment/5905992/+files/20250905_230234.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2122081 Title: Kubuntu Installer: Live CD Does Not "Support" `ubuntu-bug` For Installer/Installation Issues To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/2122081/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
