Public bug reported:
Description
I am consistently experiencing a critical issue where the system fails to
properly resume from hibernation. The process is extremely slow and results in
only one of my two monitors waking up. The system then becomes mostly
unresponsive, and logs show a soft lockup.
Steps to Reproduce
Set up the system with hibernation enabled and configured (swap partition or
swapfile is used and correctly configured in GRUB).
Hibernate the system.
Power the system back on to resume.
Expected Behavior
The system should resume from hibernation within a reasonable timeframe (a few
seconds) and restore the full desktop environment across both monitors.
Actual Behavior
The resume process is extremely slow (over 20 seconds). After the desktop
appears, only one monitor wakes up, and the system is largely unresponsive.
