I can confirm this particular bug broke our mounts at Glenfield College,
but it's not super-urgent for our students this second. However, other
users/sites do use our deployment scripts for Zorin Education based
sites, which are definitely affected.

Our scripts allow a student to log into Ubuntu/Zorin using active directory,
and have their file shares automatically mounted based on their user account,
see: https://github.com/glenfieldcollege/Zorin-Configuration-public
It's a variation on the Canterbury University approach, which was far more
manual.

I can confirm the test patch works on our test deployment machine, and
would therefore work on Zorin education deployments working with our
script.

I'll give a heads-up when we ultimately see the patch in the mainstream
release cycle, and if it still works for us; I know it should, but you
never know.
