If I try to start a Virtualbox machine on my laptop, which is now
running Plucky Kubuntu, I get this message in the GUI:
VirtualBox can't operate in VMX root mode. Please disable the KVM kernel
extension, recompile your kernel and reboot (VERR_VMX_IN_VMX_ROOT_MODE).

If I rmmod kvm_intel and kvm, then Virtualbox will start OK.
