Well, I tried to stop the firmware-updater.firmware-notifier service, running fwupd in verbose mode and then start the firmware- updater.firmware-notifier service again. I noticed two problems:
1. For some reason the fwupd program needs 20 minutes to recognize the TPM module in my computer: 14:38:41.369 FuDeviceList ::added 23ec719b6aabc2d2dac5176c232f0da7a21881b0 [USB2.0 HD UVC WebCam] 14:58:32.858 FuDeviceList ::added c6a80ac3a22083423992a3cb15018989f37834d6 [TPM] 2. Once it is up and running, starting the firmware-updater.firmware- notifier service produced this message: 15:55:12.499 FuPluginLinuxLockdown failed to ensure attribute fix flags: missing executable grubby in PATH -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2098668 Title: DPCD accesses with nouveau fail; leading to other problems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2098668/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
