So it is just sudo that shows the fallback problem? What about switching
users in the GUI, and then coming back to the original user (who was
already authenticated, and has a session open), does that also not
fallback (it's gdm3 again)? What was the original scenario where this
bug was discovered, which app/tool was falling back to password auth
when it shouldn't?
