e) Unfortunately, I think it is unreasonable from a practicality and SRU
risk-adverse viewpoint to backport all the smartcard / passkey testcases
from upstream / noble to jammy. This is not a trivial number of commits,
as they are mostly many small changes, and some changes come with
feature / functionality changes, which are outside the scope of this LP
bug, or anything that we would be interested in fixing, and would just
cause extra maintenance burden down the line.

f) This request has been added to the testcase in the section "Remove
smartcard requirement, and go back to password authentication:". We can
test for sure that removing smartcard requirement that password
authentication still works.
