I hadn't opened or read the forum thread you (Ivan) posted in the initial description, where I now see you noted different behavior when using 'live' media to your 'installed' system; so my 'live' tests wouldn't be expected to show your issue as I read your forum information. My asus is x86 (only) - Ivan uses x86_64.
