I don't think the problem is with indicator-sound/-gtk2. indicator-sound Recommends one of the following ( | = or) unity-control-center | gnome-control-center | ubuntu-system-settings | pavucontrol | mate-media
It seems a sensible thing to do would be to make lubuntu-default- settings pull in pavucontrol to satisfy the dependency, so that unity- control-center and its associated packages don't get installed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1734100 Title: Installation of indicator-sound-gtk2 brings unnecessary packages on Lubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-sound/+bug/1734100/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
