I've got two identical desktop pcs with an ATI Radeon X300. The first one was fresh installed with Ubuntu Gutsy alternate CD and X freezes after few minutes (same symptoms: all blocked except mouse pointer).
The other one was upgraded from Feisty to Gutsy and it doesn't freeze! Attached you can find my two "lspci -vn" output (that one with freeze is the one who freezes ;) Is there something - mainly differences between the two - I can check that can be interesting? ** Attachment added: "lspci.tar.gz" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10126474/lspci.tar.gz -- X freezes when compiz is enabled on ATI cards https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108527 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
