For me it happen every time when I choose 'something else' because the ssd is already partitioned like that:
- sda1 Netrunner 14 x64 ext4 (root + home) - sda2 Data ext4 (my data) - sda3 Windows 7 ntfs - sda4 Extended partition - sda5 Test ext4 (here is where I want to install the latest Ubuntu version - root + home) - sda6 Swap The installation fail when Ubiquity try to format sda5 "/". I hope that can help. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1361951 Title: Ubiquity freezes during partition creation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/partman-ext3/+bug/1361951/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
