Using firefox 2.0b1 on edgy, the screen.resolution setting has been removed.
It has also been removed from the ui.
However, there is now a layout.css.dpi setting, which is set to -1 by default,
which means a minimum of 96 dpi :
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Layout.css.dpi

Since gnome is also set to 96 dpi by default, it should match.
If you increase gnome dpi to 120, firefox should also uses that, and the fonts
should get bigger in both.

The above mozilla link may also tell you what the setting is supposed to
do, and why it has a different behavior than X/Xft dpi.

Personnaly, I don't know what X, Xft, and web browser dpi should be set
to, but it's certainly a whole mess.

Firefox does not pay attention to GNOME DPI setting, nor work with its own
