Note I need to boot with the old 20-15 kernel

Here the fstab content

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point>   <type>  <options>       <dump>  <pass>
proc            /proc           proc    defaults        0       0
# /dev/sda3
UUID=0ce8f9f5-2190-42e1-b0b1-9f7b5494df01 /               ext3
defaults,errors=remount-ro 0       1
# /dev/sda1
UUID=8A3CB2813CB267B9 /media/sda1     ntfs
defaults,nls=utf8,umask=007,gid=46 0       1
# /dev/sda2
UUID=d8bfb404-49d2-425e-8858-b8ca7b97b753 none            swap    sw
  0       0
/dev/scd0       /media/cdrom0   udf,iso9660 user,noauto     0       0
/dev/fd0        /media/floppy0  auto    rw,user,noauto  0       0

but seems all partitions are referenced by id.
The file lists only the parallel ata drive partitionsc d, the other sata drive
is not listed (i attached it after feisty install) and is not mounted.
I use it few time in linux, and I mount it only when needed. Anyway it is
present on /dev/sdbX
