Thank you -- to all in this thread !!!
Been trying to teach my 16 year old that open source is more inventive/fun than
Windoz,
Though our introduction to Ubuntu was not great.
(The Linksys WUSB600N V2 worked great out-of-the-box on his Windows XP and
Vista)

We learned a lot more about Ubuntu by working on getting the WUSB600N adapter
working --
following this and the other related threads.

Even our side trip to Grub2 on our Dell 9.10 upgrade from 9.04
(didn't have WUSB600N for 9.04 - though tempted to go back - folks said it
worked there)

We were able to "make" the RT3572 driver and install it.
We were able to see the Linksys 600N router with "network-admin" ....
But were unable to connect via Personal WPA2 ...
Out last attempt was with the "blacklist" of RT2800 ... no joy.

We are newbies to Ubuntu and forum protocol ...

Does that fact that this thread ended with no solution mean the subject
is dead for now ??

If so, I need to buy a USB network adapter that will work with Ubuntu 9.10 and
my Linksys 600N router.
The Ubuntu official list doesn't seem to cover any usb adapter that is
currently out-there for Karmic-32 bit.

Any suggestions ???

Thanks !!
