Jaunty 9.04 alpha 3, updated as of yesterday. No changes made with regards to services and startup applications.
Additional software added from repo's: O.O Base, Virtualbox, Banshee, CCSM and Conky. Uninstalled Rhythmbox. Looked at Sys Monitor while runnining lshal --monitor earlier: status=sleeping (whole 10 mins) Currently have CD Drive connected, but previously with DVD Drive connected, upon insert CD disk, would get many many open windows along gnome-panel "Starting File Manager". This does not happen with CD drive. No previous hardware issues with 7.10, 8.04, 8.10 though this can change I guess.
