Sorry that it took some time ..

Did some more testing (have turned frequency to 0), and we still experience
the same problem.

Testet on 1.2.11

Attached is a slightly modified version of the quicksave plugin.  Please
install it and test when you have the time.

Also, please try turning the frequency to zero in the Options->Display
Preferences->Quicksave Message Save Frequency box and see if that does
anything.
