Regarding POP3 and IMAP mixed.

We are using SM and if people check their mail using the web interface, the messages they display will then not be downloaded to their POP3 clients when they check their mail with the client.

Making everything IMAP is not an option in this case. The only reason I need the IMAP at this point is for the webmail interface.

I'm wondering if there is a simple configuration flag or soemthing that would allow the POP3 clients to still get the mail that was displayed by the web mail interface.

I'm afraid I'm not being clear... Maybe an example:

My mail server had 20 new messages on it and while I was on travel I read the messages via SM using a browser. I left all the messages on the server and when I got back home, I ran my POP3 client to retrieve those messages and they did not download. Using the SM interface I was able to see they were still there and read them, but the POP3 client could not see them at all.

For me, I can use IMAP or POP3, but for the other 70+ users, they must use POP3. So converting to a single protocol like IMAP is really not an option at this time.
